We have always included a "Resources" section on the site as a location for extra hologaphy related information,

We have nowe updated that with a dedicated Video section.  Here you will find a link to the HoloJay YouTube Channel which contains short videos from the collection to give you an idea of how some of the work appears  when viewed from a variety of angles.

Many videos have also been included into catalogue pages to compliment the still images we normally use to document works.

We have just added almost 50 new images of work to various sections of the site.

All of these are either larger versions, which are used as the main item image (at the top of each page), or extra images to illustrate multiple views of holograms in the collection.

We hope these enhanced images make your use of the site that bit more valuable.

A week after we launched the new site we have just updated over 60 images and added more than 25 new ones!

These have been included across the site and are the result of rephotographing many of the pieces in the collection to produce larger, better resolution, images.

You will find many of them as "headline" images - ones which are at the top of the page when you select an item from the collection.  Click on that and it will now enlarge to show you the full size version.

For may pages we have added multiple views of some of the works, to give you a better idea of how the holograms appear when seen from a variety of angles.

There are more images to come, so call back regularly to catch up with developments.

An Invitation

The Jonathan Ross Hologram Collection website has been running for fifteen years so we decided it was time for a new look.

The new format has scope for lots more material so I would like to invite all the holographers whose work is featured here to submit background information, stories and images to supplement those I have provided. That way we can work together to make this the best resource on holographic imaging to be found on the web.

About the Collection

The Jonathan Ross Hologram Collection, based in London, UK, is one of the largest resources in the world for creative, display and commercial holography.

A number of touring exhibitions, containing work from the collection, have been presented in outstanding museums and galleries both within the UK and abroad. Information about new acquisitions and exhibitions is added here on a regular basis.
